Pristine '91 ebay find!
Just ran across this really sweet '91.5 W350 5spd on ebay. WOW this thing is nice! Only 68,500 miles!

It may have been redone a little as it has a roll pan and the front end/grill is a mid 80's style

LOOK at the engine! You could EAT off of it!

I wonder why he said; "68K miles on odometer but true miles unknown. I would say its a very low mileage truck due to the way it drives and no leaks."?
Gives me the impression he knows something he isn't saying.
It also says new paint. Otherwise, nice looking truck.

That's a lot of money for a regular cab truck with rubber floors and crank windows. The old grille says that it's likely one truck made from many. Why did he have to replace the wheel bearings and clutch at 6x,xxx miles? Oh, that's right, seller isn't 'sure' if the mileage from the boneyard dash matches the original truck...oops, did I say that out loud? If there truly are reciepts, I'd like to see the one for the clutch--bet it's the 'upgrade' 12''-er that runs about 225 bucks and not a 13'' sachs that'll run 3 times that amount. It is amazing what a pressure washer with the right detergent will do under a hood. Sadly, anything aluminum will corrode badly from said detergent if not re-painted within a month. Rattle-can undercoating that's about a day old in the pics
2nd gen intake tube with an air cleaner from a medium sized garden tractor--and right next to the turbine housing for lots of pre-heated air, no less
Thanks but no thanks, not for that kind of money. Boy am I bitter this AM or what

Dang Greg, you got a wall out of plumb on that new house causing some frustration!?!
Actually, the house is coming along nicely, though I did give in and buy the trusses rather than build them--should be in shortly. I think I made the coffee too weak this AM

That's a bitsa - Look at the rear axle - The tires are a few inches inside of the dually fenders. That's the wrong width rear axle, which is probably from a single rear wheel truck.
This one looks real fishy to me.

Cab-n-chassis rear axle.
Non- original mirrors. At least I've never seen mirrors like that on a true 1stGen truck. Those mirrors are off the same truck the grille is.
2wd emblem on the front fenders- likely a conversion
I couldnt give two farts about the ultra low miles- this is a 300K truck with a million mile engine. Probably need fuel system and brake system work from so much sitting.
Crank windows and rubber floor are plusses in my book. Power winders are nice, til something gives out, or sticks, or slows down.
If it runs as well as the guy says, I'd give no more than $3000.

If I remember correctly.. you don't just change the grills between the early and late first gens.. I think there's a fair amout of work..
And what's with the melted valve cover... looks like the front is a warped...

The 81(?) to 85s will interchange with the 86-90s. The shell is the same. Going from a 90 to 91 grille is a bit involved.
Where do you see a warped valve cover? They all look nice and straight to me.

. Tight for a Dodge is sloppy loose, nearly falling apart, for a Chevy.
