Powerstroke intercooler- what years work and are the endtanks plastic or AL?

What year powerstroke intercoolers are you guys using? 7.3 or 6.0? I found a guy w/ a 6.0 one, but it has plastic tanks. Any problem w/ these? What $ do they usually go for? Thanks-Nick

I think those with plastic end tanks might be more prone to them rupturing with higher boost pressures.

The one you what is from a 98-02 w/aluminum ends that look like this one.

the plastic tank ones are taller than the aluminum ones too they hit the frame.

I don't even freakin' know what that number is. Isn't 80psi what I run in my tires with a full load?

People have twins pushing good boost through with no problems that I have read about.
