I agree; but how long would that take? I don't know.
I am just thinking 95% of the people on here are good or better off just leaving it alone.
For those of us that do have fuel starvation problems; still looking for a better solution.

I see Genos Garage sells the Vulcan Performance "draw straw II". Think I will order the 1/2" style tomorrow and let you guys know if it will work in a 1st gen.

i have a 17 wrench in the glove box. air dog w stock pickup. my impression is that it's slosh in the tank that causes the prob. the pump draws sooo much more fuel than it needs. seems like putting in a bigger pickup will make the prob worse. just installed a digital fp ga. see what it looks like through the traps. know more then. it's a treasure hunt. tc

Just got my draw straw from Vulcan.
Ordered a draw straw I or III instead of the II. Looks like this might do the trick.

Right now mine is stock with the exception of the Holley blue But in the near future I will be upgrading everything with my own custom fuel system
