Instead of starting a new thread on POD's, I'll just put my question here on this one. So I have had POD's for about a year now and have quite a bit of white haze at idle, even after the truck is all warmed up. I have a K&N filter, and 4" exhaust so i know its breathing well even for being up here in Denver. I have also done the timing on the pump and backed the smoke screw all the way out which helped but did not reduce the haze all that much. What else can I do to get rid of some of this haze and keep people from rolling up their windows next to me at stop lights?

I installed PODs. I lost 3 MPGs across the board. It did not matter if I set the cruize on 60 MPH or ran 75. I had 3.54 gears. I have a friend with 4.10 gears that gets up to 21 MPGs without PODs and I only got 17 max before I installed PODs.I think it has to do with how old your engine is. My engine had 225K miles when I got it, my friend who gets 21 MPGs had 80K miles when he got it. his burns no oil, mine burns about 3 quarts in 5000 miles. every truck is different.
last year I made a long trip. I had an 11 foot cabover camper and towing a trailer. I was about 13,000 LBs. I got 10 to 11 MPGs running 75 all the way with 3.73 gears. this is with my 1992 2WD with lots of engine mods.
