Picture request (Fuel pressure gauge related)
Can you post a picture of where you get your pressure reading from for a fuel pressure gauge?
I need to have a line made up that goes from this point to the isolater so I can get my FP gauge put in one of these days.
Thanks.

Sorry no pics, but use this and put in the bleeder spot above the lift pump. http://www.genosgarage.com/prodinfo....BF-LONG-TAPPED
Ya, I used that fitting from Geno's garage.
A.) it allows more flow. Holes for banjo bolt are 0.180" vs. stock 0.150".
B.) middle hole is tapped out to 1/8" NPT like your pressure gauge will need.
You can also take out the "bleeder screw" of the stock banjo bolt set up, then drill/tap that hole yourself. Easier just to buy it pre made bolt though. This banjo bolt is attatched to the head. It's coming OUT of the filter, and goes straight to the injection pump. It's right next to the dipstick tube for the engine oil (I had to push it out of the way slightly to get my sensor screwed in). Hope that helps John.

I am using a grease gun hose from Harbor Freight, with a $30 GlowShift electric gauge and sender. It works fine. It pulses a little at idle and reads a little high(I think), but I am satisfied. I am also using the Geno's tapped banjo bolt.
I'm pretty sure it's 1/8" NPT. The one from Geno's is pretapped like I said, but the stock one can be I'm told
My isolator is screwed right into the banjo bolt... I probably should have a rubber hose isolator for vibration reasons.

Don't forget the "snubber" and cut-off valve connected first in line at whichever source you tap for the reading.
I use a 1/8-NPT ball-cut-off valve, Female X Male, screwed into whatever fitting I am using, be it one of the over-sized fuel-banjos, or a simple TEE.
The purpose of the cut-off valve is to be able to immediately, and without tools, shut off the line should it spring a leak; a cut-off should also be employed at the source for the oil-pressure gauge for the same reason.
The snubber arrests the surges/pulses created by the lift-pump, thus keeping the gauge-needle steady, instead of constantly flinching.
