Pics of BHAF mounts (post yours)!! ?

Post your pics!! Lets see how you did it!!

I am getting ready to convert my factory box to a BHAF, I have mulled over the mount in the sticky and I am not sure if it is the way I want to go maybe I will warm up to it. Are there any other ways that have been used to mount the BHAF?? I am looking for function as well as form. An I would also like to make sure that it gets plenty of cool air flow, maybe even ram air of some sort??

Heres mine...standard mount, its off right now to get a shot of cummins beige like the intercooler tubing. Im drilling holes in the core support also so that it will get a little more cool air.

That's what I did. I got some galvanized sheet from work and they even paid me to cut and bend it up and I'm going with the painted black thing also. I think that it gives it the "hardcore" look, plus I didn't feel like spending the money on aluminum when the galv. was free. By the way Curt where did you get your 45's from, I'm trying to gather the parts to install my BHAF and still need to get them.

I have the same mount made from the diagram in the sticky. I used 16 gauge steel and put an Outer Wearers on the BHAF. Where did you guys get those 45 degree hoses on the intake pipe?

www.airflo.com

They've got clamps and anything else one might need for the BHAF

Take a stainless steel 33qt soup pot, whittle on it some, cut some holes around the headlights and nail it in. 100% cool air. Works really well. ~

I actually got everything for the BHAF, except filter, from work. I made mine from 11 ga. mild steel. Hence the paint. Aluminum treadplate would have raised some questions.

BC847 has the coolest setup. That's snazzy!

Like has been said airflo is the best place to get the needed parts.

Hey BC does that pot cut down on flow at all? Or does the cooler air make up for the loss if any?

Nah. I've got it set-up such that air flows through it as efficiently as possible.

Using the BHAF that we all use, it's a rather large assembly.

Works very well for me.
