Picked up my WH1C tonight

Well I went and got it. Some kid was going to put it on a Nissan. I'm going to give it a good looking over tomorrow in the garage. Looks cleaner than expected. I figure I can make something of it. So what all will i need to round to mount this on my truck? Any odd ball parts or stuff to make/fab up?

Nope it will bolt right up. You will have to loosen the downpipe or just shove it back due to the wastegated housing, and thats it.

I ran a WH1C back in the day, was a good turbo. Same as a hx35.

well thats great to hear its a bolt on. Out of curiousity does this 12cm WG housing swap on to a H1C that is stock on the truck? Seems like stuff can be mixed and matched between the few of them?

yea u can put the 12cm housing on the h1c that was my plan until i found out i can ge my hands on a hx-35. it seemed to me though that the WH1C compressor housing has a larger impeller then the h1c. so swapping jus the housings is a little iffy but if u have the wh1c wheel to put on the h1c it call can be done i would think

The 12cmWG will bolt right on. If the WH1C is good, run it. I bought a clapped out one for cheap and put the WG on my H1C. Response is great, but with a load it (the turbo) "stalls" when you let the motor pull down. When you are rolling coals and let off real quick it surges pretty bad. I would think these symtoms would be worse with the 3.07's. The WH1C has the MWE that solves these problems, as well as the previosly mentioned larger compressor. If the bushings are loose in it you could swap the WG and compressor onto the H1C.
