How's everyone? Been a long time since I 've been on this forum. Need a bit of advise . A couple of days ago I slid on some black ice and rammed my 89 d 250 into a curb. Not really the best truck to run in ice or snow lol. Now I need to get the passenger side lower control arm replaced.While I am there I am also looking for a tailgate--bought it without one thinking to put a flat bed --now changed my mind.Like the lines of the unmolested truck--these 1st gens grow on you. My query is--what years and model parts will be compatible with my truck. Thank in advance for any info.

anything from 81-93 will fit for the tailgate. They were all the same. Except for the cosmetics of the LE trucks in the later years. Gas, diesel, it makes no difference.

As for the control arm. I'm really not sure. I'd guess any diesel 2wd from 89-93 would have the same, though I'd verify that first with someone knowledgible on the 2wd trucks.

Thanks Rick. Becoming a bit of an issue finding a control arm that's 4000 rated around here for some reason.

did you try napa or any aftermarket parts, look it up from moog suspension
