Anyone have access to a parts interchange to tell me if a speedometer head from a 96-98 Dodge 1500 van will fit my 92 D-250? It looks the same from the picture but it could be different internally.

 

I know this might or might not help but vans are usually the last to see any updated changes. Its like they use the van to clear up excess inventory. Unless its cable driven, which it shouldnt be that new, there is a good chance it will work. I yanked the factory radio out of a 1998 Dodge Intrepid and it plugged in no problems.

Ford did the same things with thier speedo. I had a customer with a 1991 econoline that had the same instrument cluster as the 73-79 fords did. Heck even the 80-86 ford pickups had a different cluster.

Give her a shot and let us know.

 

Most "Junk Yards" can tell you if they will interchange. Just find one that deals in Pick ups Vans and the like - give them a call.
