So my FFA advisor came up to me Thursday about the upcoming Christmas parade, he wants me to pull my trailor thru it , (truck/trailor weigh 9000 lbs) is this a bad idea on my half or will I be fine, just took out he Rad to get it fixed. I know it will be alot of start/stop, will this be hard on the truck?

If you happen to have a gasser engine it will be hard on it...otherwise, no...Thats what these things are made for, not to be street queens. Best part is it can do the pulling AND be the street queen

In this day and age of lawyers and big law suits, I would want to know just who would be held responsible when a kid runs in under your wheels and gets squished.

Something like that could put you in the poorhouse for now and all time to come.

I agree with Bearkiller it is stuff like lawyers that make me think twice on certain things, but I would probably go for it. It will be fun to show off the good ole truck

I pulled this enduro car and trailer through our local State Fair parade this summer.(A friend sponsored him) Temps were in the 90's by the end of the parade a couple hours later with humidity. On any slight downhill grade or hill I put it in neutral and let it coast. Had the A/C on the whole time. The engine temps stayed normal and didn't come anywhere near overheating.

With an automatic you can probably just idle along. If you had a stick the worst thing that would happen is your left leg got tired.
