there are so many variables when blasting its hard to give a quote. some people just want the outside done, some want outside and underhood, some inside the car, trunk, underside. ect ect. whole bunch of options.

usually outside/underhood for a B body would be around 800-1200 depending on the amount of paint and filler it had (more paint/filler longer it takes)
underside/trunk/floors we usually do with glass as soda doesnt do much with rust. most blasters are in the $125-275+/hr range depending where you live

entire car would be in the $2000 range around here, thats inside and out.

i am going to start the resto on my 71 GY3 340 4spd demon soon. i will post pictures when i blast it.

If you still havent got it done and theres no plastic on it lacquer thinner will take it off without hurting a thing. I have been detailing for 27 yrs and i wouldn't use anything but that. I done this real quick the other night just to see how it would do.

That looks trick!!! Did you polish it after you stripped it???? The Foremost works great I tried it on another grille first to be safe
You just spray it on and the paint starts wrinkling. Then hit it with the pressure washer and done!!!!

Yeh I did polish it on a buffer and then a little by hand but not to much it looked pretty good after i striped it, i used lacquer thinner and i cut off most of the brissels on a 1 in paint brush and just scrubed it in, I'm gona paint my motor race hemi orange and i'm also gona paint the raised letters with orange on the valve cover some day right the hey season is takin all my extra time. I was gona say try a preshure washer also. Glad you got it clean.
