Or you could do a "real" upgrade and go with one of these bad boys. 160amps continuous and never worry about your alt again!

OK guys here is an update. I did the conversion of adding an external regulator but now my check engine light is on and its flashing the code the altenator is not regulating. No dudu!!!! I was wondering can I splice the 2 original wires to the altenator together and will this get rid of the code or should I just pull the bulb and be done with it? I would really like a way to fix it correctly instead of pulling the bulb.
