Other engine installs

What engines other than a 5.9L Cummins have you guys seen or installed in
1st gen. truck?

You mean besides the usual gassers??? I had a Ramcharger with a 468 bbc and chevy running gear.

I guess I should have stated what engines.. I was thinking in the diesel family.. 7.3L IH, Cat, maybe something from a big piece of Ag equipment with nig horsepower..

I've seen a 4-53T Detroit in a 1st gen. The factory put a 4 liter Mitsubishi non-turbo inline six in them in the late '70's. People have installed 4BT's too.
