Opened my AFC today.
The fuel pin was set 45degrees forward. The mark was on the "thick" side. Turned it 90 degrees to the right and it made a nice difference. I can probably get another 45 degrees to get it completely on the "thin" side. I also removed the nylon washer.
I'm getting more smoke / haze now, but the smoke screw appears to have been turned way in (top of screw flush with lock nut). I backed it out about 1 1/2 turns before I test drove it and noticed the haze. Should I back it out a little more, or will that cost me power?

It'll smoke more - hence the nickname
I'd keep it where it is. Just a haze under heavy or full throttle means you're burning all the fuel. As you add sticks, turn up your power screw, etc. you'll start getting more smoke. I ended up with mine 2 turns OUT from where it was - flush with the nut head like yours.
