Check your electrical connections between the gage and the sender.
And
Before your next oil change pour a can of Chemtool in the crank case.

I replaced the sender adn got it. Thanks guys. I got my oil temp gauage going too. next step is the water temp. Mind you all these ere in the truck when I got it they didn't work right.
