OE radio/clock
OE radio/clock
I know that most of you have replaced the OE radio/clock in your trucks. My truck still has the original one.
I had the battery disconnected for a couple of days. The problem is now I have forgotten how to set the time.
I checked the owners manual but that referred me to some other document that I do not have(I forgot what the document name is) Its the pits getting old.
Any how, does any one have the instructions on how to set the clock?
I would appreciate it if you would share them with me.

If you have the AM/FM Cassette with NO equalizer bars, here is how you do it.
Turn the radio on (I have not tried it with the radio off...)
Push SEL then SET.
Turn the Tuner *** to the desired hour
Repeat for minutes
Push SEL again to set.

Ok guys have your fun. I am old enough to have to spell things out, I don't understand this modern day short hand.
The radio does have the little thinges that slide up and down with the cassette player.
The directions that Jon gave me will probably work as that is kind of what I remember I had to do before. I don't change the clock from daylight savings time to standard at all it is the same time year around. I do remember what time of the year it is and just do the math.
I have had the truck for about 5 years and probably have only set the clock a couple of times during the 5 years.
Since this picture was taken I have painted the truck. At present I have 94K on the clock.
Any how thanks for the replies.

Please do not worry about the hijack, I am not that senative and I like to talk about the boat.
From looking at your avatar I have found another steamer.
The boat is a life boat from a WW2 liberty ship and for its size it does very well. The boat is 23 ft long and 8 wide.
Here is a link to some pictures of the steam boats from our group.
I hope posting this link is legal here.
