Hey guys, a little while ago my odometer stopped working for about 20 miles, during this time the speedo still worked. About 1000 miles later the odometer and speedo both stopped working. I took the dash apart to find the gears were good so I went underneath and took the speedo sensor out, the little shaft end was broken off. I swapped everything on the TCase over from my '93 (odometer and speedo were both working) and now the speedo is working but the odometer still isn't working. Any ideas?

Any thoughts guys? I am heading on a big cross Canada trip in a few weeks and would like to have it fixed beforehand!

FWIW, just went thru this on a Ramcharger, it was the motor that drove the odo......... Got another from the junkyard and all is well.

 

I took it apart again again just had to adjust the gears, works fine now!
