OD Wiring problem

I changed the fluid and filter in my transmission along with flushing. When i put the filter screw back into place I didnt realize that i was pinching the OD solenoid wires. (red and black ones around the valve body) And the screw was between the two wires and pinched them down to the valve body

It blew all of the fusible links out so i replaced them with fuses and fuse holders. The red and black wires were melted in the tranny pan. I was just going to replace the wires but when I dropped the pan the wires run to the solenoid then back into the back of the transmission some where. Is there any way i can get to these wires with the transmission still in the truck. And is there a way to make sure the solenoid didnt burn up?

I would just get a new selinoid, not that expensive.. Seems like you already had a pretty big headache.. Might as well just replace the selinoid that way you know it is right.. Just have to pull the Vb out.. Not to hard of a job.. Few hrs and some trans fluid all over everything!!
