OD Question
I know this subject has been discussed to death on this forum, but I'm still having problems. I checked the TPS sensor and it works per the proceedures in the sticky. I adjusted the TV cable as well. Still no overdrive. I feel the transmission shift twice from a full stop. I have 3.54 gears and at 60 MPH I'm at 2500RPM.

Check the crank sensor cable. Mine was been rubbed through by one of the pulleys causing a minor short. It eventually rubbed all the was through which caused the Alternator to stop charging, that's how I noticed it. Once it was all spliced back together truck starting charging and shifting into OD

My OD switch was out on mine....just had a bad switch...the od in these trucks has always seemed to have a hard time being consistent.....get a potentimeter to fix that.
