if one could find the straight cut gears for the od what would be a fair price?

Do you need all the gears or just one or more of the 3? Are you dead set on having straight cut vs 15* ones?

Usually the sun gear take the beating and a new one is usually all you need to fix it up. I think $50 for a new sun gear is a fair price.

Oh, I see. If you can't get straights, I would replace with a 15* set.
