NV4500 and NP205 clocking...

OK I have spent the last 2 hours searching, and reading through the archives. I have not been able to find a definitive answer to my question.

When installing a NP205 to the back of a NV4500 does the transfer case clocking change? I mean does the passengers side drop of the NP205 move up or down a little due to a slightly different bolt spacing?

I have come across a couple references on-line to the transfer case moving up/down a little when doing this conversion. Any truth to them?

Most of the info I found here in the archives states that guys just bolt up the NP205 to their NV4500's and go...no problems. Other then the shifter and tranny brackets, and maybe loosing the internal seal due to the coupler, if you don't want to cut yours down.

I had no problems. Just bolt and go. I could not tell any differences to the "up and down".
