np241 t case flip???
Hey fellas, im still working out the details on swapping an nv5600 into my truck, i was wondering if i could use the np241 tcase on the nv5600 and just rotate it so its on the passenger side of my truck? anyone know? thanks

Yeah, but you have to relocate 2 of the mounting bolts, and relocate the oil pickup. The angle will be a little different too. Just pull out two of the studs and put it up in there to see.

The only real big problem with flipping a 241 (or any plantery reduction t-case) is that they have oil pumps to supply the gears with oil. You would need to reroute the pickup tube for the pump to the top, now bottom, of the case. You also need to deal with the other problems present when flipping any case, such as, vent, fill and drain plugs, and shifter.
Hey thanks guys, that seems pretty straight forward and any fabbing or mods done to it wont be hard for me, thanks for the pics CaptainChrysler, definantly going to save me money over buying another tcase or buying an input for my 205.
