NP 205 Input Seal

I've got my trans out, and I see that the input shaft on the T-case is leaking. I have done it before, but can't remember now. Can I just remove the upper gears to get at the input seal, or do I have to tear the whole case down?

Should be able to pull it out without taking the case apart. Use a pvc pipe and tape the new ones back in, should fit around the shaft(s) easy.

Anyone have a part number? I'd just tear it out of there, but It's at home, and I'm back at school all week.

Zbag would have what you need. I would consider removing the whole front 'bowl' or adapter and resealing or replacing the gasket there. Then the input seal R&R is much easier with the adapter removed. An entire seal kit is super cheap, like $20 IIRC from them.

Ok thanks. I should have ordered it from them when I ordered my trans rebuild parts.
