now she runs!!!

I finaly got here running over the weekend, I pulled the electric pump I had in the tank out and she fired right up, once I droped the Idle down a bit I took here for a ride. I like!!!!!! Then my rear main started to gush, so sunday I got to pull the trans to replace that. I noticed a small pited area near the outer seal lip. I belive this is just the dust seal and the inner lip is the oil seal, to be on the safe side I knocked the new one in just a little more, not much maby a 1/16. I drove 50 mi to work this morning and so far no leaks ,,,from that. I hope that solves the problem. Now I have to figuer a beter way to vent my T case, it vented fluid all over my trany this morning. Any Ideas??? its an NP 241, that uses auto trans fluid . I used a fuel filter and then ran the line up to the top of my bell houseing area, It used to work fine but my t case sits at a little diferant angle now. Also , do you guys have any problums with clutch chatter, or drive train shutter, I can take off in 1st but if I do 2nd it starts to shutter???? any Ideas please, I was thinking maby traction bars?
I also added a picture finaly
thanks

Drive train stutter, when starting out, is usually caused by worn motor mounts or transmission mounts.

awesome pic, nice rig. Now I just need under hood pics and specifics in case I get a wild hair to do it to mine some day

In the pic it looks like a passengers side output tcase, guess I thought all NV241s were drivers output.

You might search around on some 4x4 boards for answers on the transfer case issue. I think the NV241 has a pump in it.

I'll second the motor/tranny mounts, but your flywheel could also have some oil on it from the rear main blowout yet...Sweet rig, nice to see something different.

I'm leaning towards the flywheel having some oil on it from the rear main seal.that will cause a shutter in a heart beat.

Sorry, I wasnt able to check online last nite. I replaced the moter mounts when I installed the moter, the tranny mount was a new one I had ,for a diferent application, it might be to soft? yes it is a pasenger side out put on the Tcase, I used a chevy version from an 89 k5 blazer. they made this version for a few years,I had to install the dodge 29 spline input though, and found the intermediat bearing was also different.
