Now Injector issues!!!!!!!
Alright so I get my new injector in only....Yep its not the same as the one I took out ,the tip is not as fat,so I guess this is the part #KDAL 59 P 2 ,This is the number on my old injector that I need to match. Ring any bells? Im really getting frusterated at this point I was sure Id have it running tonight...
Non-IC trucks have a 9MM tip standard. The IC trucks and most aftermarket injectors are 7MM. You can get an adapter from an injection pump rebuild shop or aftermarket parts supplier to make your new injectors work in your non-IC head. They (the adapters) run about $50 a set.
You bet brother,Im gonna eat a fistfull of those things this year,I did find out however that like dodgenstein said the injector that was ordered for me was in fact the IC version,so I went back tonight and got the other version ordered,it will be here on Fri morning.Fingers crossed I'll be rolling on Fri afternoon.Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!!!!!!!!
