Well since I have tightened the bolts, the leak has stopped, but I still think it was the thermostat housing and not the head gasket. Those got snugged up a little too. It could easily have leaked from the thermostat housing and pooled by the head and then down the oil cooler. Just looked like a head gasket leak and now I'm paranoid about it.
