Ok dumb question but to convert to an external regulator I just get a voltage regulator for a nonIC correct? My truck is not charging and I was gonna try and see if this will help cause alternator and battery both check out fine. Thanks.

 

I figured out my problem nevermind.

 

Well what was wrong?

 

It was a break in the crank sensor wires. Fixed it and running great now.
