Nice ride

I stumbled across this picture searching for mirrors. I said WOW when I saw it. Clean, simple, perfect stance. Looks like stock height in rear with 2 1/2" lift in front? I then said "Honey, I gotta get new wheels". She just rolled her eyes. Too bad I just got new tires. The parts donor has 2 1/2" Skyjacker front springs just waiting for me to pull them.

I think that may be more like a 4" lift. Bigger-than-stock wheels throws off the proportions.

I just don't understand the blacked out lights I really don't see it as good styling, and especially not for safety. There are a few guys running around my area where the taillights are so blacked out you can barely see the brake lights on at night....how do they not get a ticket for that!

Picture of Red with front lifted to simulate height with skyjacker springs, based on height of parts rig. Without anything in the bed it sits up there a ways. I'm thinking that the skyjacker springs might be too much lift once there's weight in the back of the truck. Haven't built the overload blocks yet for when camper is on the truck. Tires are about same diameter as black beauty's.
Yeah, I don't get the blackout thing other than looks.

BRB here is a pic of mine it’s a 4” skyjacker front and you have to raise the rear another 2” with factory springs to level it up.

Nice rig Gunch. I like black and I like red.
Nonrev, those mirrors are Dometic Milenco DM-2912. They're only as good as what they're attached to, so they are shakey, constantly vibrate. If you could reinforce the door they would be okay. I used paracord to tether them to the truck since I had read about people having them fall off. I didn't have any trouble with that for 2,000 miles. Since they are thumb-screwed to the existing mirrors somebody could liberate them from your truck.
