Put in a new alternator and battery and changed out the battery terminals as they needed replacing. Also put in a new belt and tensioner. What should I test next? Grid heaters are not coming on. I have an aftermarket cylinder key lock didn't get to put the stock one in yet. But this charging issue is driving me crazy.
You can lose one branch of the PCM and not another. You really have to get serious about trouble shooting, or employ someone who can or you will waste more money on unneeded parts.

Check the large terminal on the alternator. It should be at battery voltage at all times or the 150 amp fusible link is blown.

Check the field terminals. One is held positive by the ASD circuit, and the other is driven to ground by the PCM. If both are at ground, the ASC circuit is faulty. If both are at battery, the PCM branch has a hole in it somewhere. The diagrams are in the stickies.

Well I need the new belt and tensioner regardless of the charging issue and the terminals were corroded. The alternator I got free. Couldn't get to do any testing is been below zero here in nyc with snow. But hopefully I'll be able to do some test this week thanks for the advice. It really helps.
