I just limped my 93 auto 4x4 back from Mexico. I was having problems with it not charging, and during this non-charging periods it would not shift into OD. I went through everything I could find on this site, tps, crank sensor, a/c relay, asd relay, new battery, Alt checked out fine. It turned out to be the PCM, it was not registering the RPM's so it was not requiring any input from the alternator. I was told that the only place I could get a PCM was from Dodge and that it would take 10 days. does anyone have any info on where to a get a PCM instaed of from Dodge. I know about the external voltage regulator, but I would rather just put in a new PCM. Thanks for any info. R

I got mine from Kragen Auto Parts. It works great and was fairly inexpensive. NAPA also has them.

rock auto.com has rebuilts,that's where I got mine,and seems to work fine,and the price wasn't bad.

 

Thanks for the feed back. I just ordered 1 from newmoparparts.com $170.00 plus a $75.00 core deposit. All the parts stores here were in the $250.00 range and were not sure about the part number. The number I took off mine was different then any of the ones Napa or Kragen had. With that said I just ordered the part on line so no guarantees.
