I remember a couple threads about sightings, I don't recall anyone on the site actually having one during the time I have been around. These links are the references I found - too bad the Craigslist link doesn't work as I think there were a couple pictures.

Apprarently it can be done, but you would want to research the conversion threads for gasser to diesel...

If you do it, keep us posted

I've been looking for one also. I've got a 93 donor that's just itchin to go somewhere. All the ones I've seen are rust buckets.

I've been thinking of doing the same thing. I've found quite a few Ram Chargers on eBay, but I'm not in a position to start a project like that right now, so I haven't bid on any, though there were a couple from Arizona and New Mexico that had no rust. Keep us posted if you decide to do it.

What kind of prices have yall been seein? I guess there wasn't alot of changes in the late years for Ramchargers so probably any year would be good. Would be cool to have one with the removable top with a cummins.

It all depends on the condition. I've seen anywhere from $300 to $3000. If and when I do this project, I'm going to try to stay between $1000 to $2000.

A 4bt out of a bread van works good in them, I think I saw some post on ramchargercentral about doing it.

I thought that at one time, maybe the last year it was produced that the Ramcharger had the option for the Cummins from the factory?

My idea is to take the suspension out of the donor truck and convert the Ramcharger to a 3/4 or 1 ton - depending on what the donor is. The weight if the Cummins will require a beefier front suspension, so why not the rear as well.
