Yes, I would throw an ignition switch at it. They are pretty cheap if you get an aftermarket one. It's not hard to change, but you do need a security torx bit (T-15 I think) for the screws. All that has to come off is the column cladding (3 screws from the bottom) and you are looking at the switch.

I am waiting for an new ignition switch to arrive $18. plus tax from the dealer. will let you know teh outcome. Thanks
