I think the ones that Banks used to sell were Stull Tube Grilles
Not for certain but you might give Banks a call.
Since our trucks are so old, you would have to find some OLD stock.

link doesn't seem to work anymore?

hmmm... was hoping for more input, basically the problem is that my original grill won't fit, if you were to look at my truck from the side, the intercooler and tranny coolers are basically flush with the head light bezels, so any grill that i install will stick out a little bit, which is okay, i just can't find one. so if any one has any more ideas i would really appreciate it. thanks

sounds like your grill is still OK, ...if so could you fab some "stand-offs" to let your grill sit further forward? My grill is about ready to fall off so I'm watching the thread on "Billet Grills" to get a line on something a bit less lousy plastic.
sorry no pic yet, but im thinking of building a grill, but i just wanted to see whats out there, and what others have done. i'll keep you guys posted, and if i build one i''l take pics so ya'll can see. thanks

If the intercooler is still behind the edge of the grille opening, you could weld a tubular frame and weld in some heavy gauge expanded metal, paint it to black out.
If you wanted fancy you could use stainless steel mesh.
Lots of different hole patterns at the scrap metal yards.
That would be real easy to do.

I feel your pain, Fury. My factory grille sits on the garage floor and I'm using my winter front as a center section for the time being. I have the extra problem of the intercooler sloping out toward the bottom because it's taller than the core support...haven't found a solution, but haven't really been looking since my truck is no prize winner anyway....

The factory side-facing horn on ic-ed trucks would bump into the mc. The intake plate inlet is offset, too. Flipping the plate 180 degrees would help, but still may not clear and there may be interference with injector lines, at least with the VE. The forward-facing intake is a cheap, easy solution, and it's also a full 3'' inlet, compared to the 2.5'' horn that is factory on ic-ed trucks.

With my forward-facing intake horn (from a freightliner, bought from bgilbert) any master/booster combo would work.
