NAPA Experts?

Anyone here work or buy frequently from NAPA? I buy the majority of my parts from there. For the most part, I have gotten mostly knowledgeable counter help there - as well as quality parts. When I was there a few weeks ago, to buy my factory replacement lift pump, the counter guys were stumped.
NAPA online lists two lift pumps, for the first gen Dodge diesel pickups. The pump I bought, which is part # M73060 (made in south Korea), rated at 6-7.5 psi fuel pressure for $67.47. Then there is a Delphi part # DEM HFP274 listed as diesel feed pump, no psi fuel rating, and the price is $81.99? This Delphi looks a dead ringer for the factory pump, as it has a cast horizontal fuel inlet for the fuel line going to the fuel filter. The M73060 pump has no horizontal fuel inlet, so you have to use a 1/4" 90 degree brass fitting.

Just wondering if anyone knows the fuel pressure rating, on the Delphi pump, part # DEM HFp274?

I think the stock diaghram lift pump puts out like 4-5 psi or something. i know with minor pump tweaks they will put out 0 psi lol.

The Pump you bought, the M73060 is a CARTER pump. looks like the stock diaghram style, but that's cool they give you a psi rating.

huntinguy,
I went to a NAPA like that, by my parents place in Delivan, WI. That store didn't know anything, nor did they have anything! I guess that's why they went out of business a few years ago

Mark,
Thanks for the heads up on the Geno's lift pump. $42 is a good price, even with $10 shipping
