Mystery radio-Help!!

Me again. Everytime it down pours my radio(stock) shows no station/time and will not produce any sound. All adjustment lighting on the radio dials, *****, etc., still work, though. After a week or two of sunshine, it miraculously turns on and works great again! I know there might be a possible short somewhere, but where? Please advise. Carmyne

Check the speaker wires at the door jam. If you have the cowel cracks, water might be shorting them. It seems like there were quick-connects in there with the factory speaker wire.

Check connectiong make sure they are tight and clean. If that is good look for broken wires. But is sounds like it is internal to the radio.
