You can push these 12 valves to 800hp on a stock bottom end. I've seen it on p-pump trucks, the engines are basicly the same.

A cam is not a must but it helps flow and lower EGT's when you go aftermarket

whats listed in my siginture is what i have done to it. The VE can not put out enough fuel to hurt the engine as long as your smart about it.

I tow my travel trailer which is 6500 pounds at least 2 twice a month in the summer and also my buddies skid loader every now and then. The skid loader is about 8000#s or so

things get can get pretty hot but it is easy to control. I certainly wish i had more air.
