Why not hook up to the brake/blinker lights?

I agree with you on hooking the clear lights up to a switch. Id do that too, on top of being hooked up to reverse lights that way I could see better backing up and have better cargo lights.

Not trying to tell you what to do or anything, just sayin'. Still looks good either way.

To many horror stories of people hooking aftermarket itmes into the harness! I dont mind having one wire going to the running lights but not interested in having any possible issues down the road with turn/brake lights!

soldier and shrink tube. No Problem. If you're worried about current, get leds. I just made a rack very similar to that one, but Mine doesn't have the crossmembers to protect the window. I have a piece of diamond plate accross the top to mount my lights. Had it all painted red, would definitely reccommend that. Looks very nice black too though.

I hate headache racks, but for some reason that one looks really good...

Maybe it's the black on the red? I don't know, but it looks really nice, it almost makes me want to get one for my truck. Of course if I bought one, I wouldn't like the way it looked on my truck.

I dont know what it was on. I have been looking for one ever since last summer when a Crown hand pump jack almost went into the back glass! It literally hit the toolbox and slide into the rubber gasket! My heart stopped!!! So I took some measurements and kept looking on different websites until this one popped up! It was the perfect height, (you cant tell but it site about a 1/2" above the cab) and was just usable in the width department!I wish it was about an inch wider! But for something to hit the side of the cab you have to be trying! Here is a pic from behind!
