Here are some of my pics of a frame. Scroll back and forth and compare. I would not take a chance. That was a good hit on the nose. I could have sagged the frame down just a hair and rolled it out a little.

easy way to measure frames is to find holes on both side of the frame that are in same spots.. measure from front to back, then diagnol from side to side in a "X" pattern.

I also do from crossmember to back in "x" pattern and from crossmember to front in "x" pattern this will help you see if frame is tweaked.. also if it is front or rear of frame..

oh and a good tape measure and someone to help is best so that way you measure from exact same spot on tape each time and the helper can hold it steady

Exactly, the wheel center to wheel center changes as the front wheels can be turned slightly one way or the other. Or if the frame is laid down on each side that measurement would not catch it.
