monroe max airs up front.
I didn't have my phone with me to take a pic but up a buddies there's a 89 or 90 sitting there with monroe max airs on it up front.
I started thinking n when I came home got out the ol tape measure n went to work on my truck, Seems the bolt sizes front to rear are the same 11/16 now the exnted length of the front shocks are 4 inches shorter then the rears. Now there collapsed length is 13.120 on the fronts 15.500 on the rears according to Monroe. My trucks shock length as of now is 17.5 inches long I am 3/4 of an inch off the bumpstops up front. So if I had my suspension up front riding right on the stops I would have an overall shock length of 16.75 inches Right?
So in the sense if I replace my front leafs even with good factory ones I should see about 20 inches of shock length so why couldn't I install a set of rear airshocks up front?

Why not install a set of FRONT air-shocks up front ??
Although the air-shocks are the quicker/easier solution, I think a set of air-bags INSIDE the coil-springs would be beneficial on a 2WD truck.
