Mirror Motors
Mirror Motors
I coudn't find it in the Sticky, and i apologize if it is in there. BUT I need to replace my mirror motors on my 93'. Has anyone done this and have any suggestions, part numbers, etc. I have no idea where to start. Sorry for my stupidity.
I haven't had mine apart but I do believe that you have to pull the mirror glass out, if it's like the other mirror's I've had apart they sit in a "cup" type socket and the "ball" end is on the mirror glass frame. I have power on my truck but plan on putting manual on just for the simple fact of the "Cummins" rattle. Both mine are inop and the vibrate something fierce. Depending on how much you really adjust your mirrors I would say that it would be much cheaper and easier to just put a nice, if not new, set of manual mirrors on it. But that's just my opinion.

The adjustment on the power mirrors ain't much to speak of. If mine were ever to fail I think I would find a matching power one and go with that.
