I've adj. the fuel screw in/out ect, adj the star wheel up/down, put the factory fuel pin in and adj it all directions. The best mileage is just the way it's set now with the DennyT pin in-star wheel down-fuel screw to runaway and timed to the head. Get rid of the slush box and get somewhere around 20 or better fuel mileage. The torque convertors and the slip-o-matics eat up fuel with no returns on the investment. My cousin has a 96 with 4:10s and turned up hotttt with a 5sp 21mpg on the hiway. Good luck on your mileage.
He has a BD converter, should be getting excellent mileage

You obviously do have a big right foot because my dad took a 230 mile trip yesterday in the 91.0 truck and we were running 70 almost the whole way with some city mixed in, light to light traffic, then 70 on the hwy again.

every few miles we'd do a 90mph run in it ....19.3 MPG

i run my 93 with a getrag and 4x4 couple hundred miles at 70 mph and farm tank in the back 80 gallon or so plus farm junk and have never gotten under 21 with the air on too. hook up a gooseneck with 5 or 6 ton of stuff on then i get 10 mpg. on a good day. down hill.

The ole 92 doesn't change much running the speed limit or with some high speed rolling. Unless I load pretty heavy it changes but not alot, it will get toasty but mileage doesn't suffer alot. Load heavy with alot of wind drag and really manually work the gears it will get down to 9.5 to 10.5.
