lucas dps? would it work?

i have a brand new lucas dps style injection pump off of a 220hp john deere 6.8 powertech engine. i did some reasearch through quickserve and cummins actually used this style pump in some applications. but would it be streetable? it has a gov. set up just like the VE, and has a ksb, but no afc. could there possibly be any benifits of this pump?

I wouldn't want to run a pump with no AFC on the street.

There are a lot of 220's in boats. Great engine. I bet you can sell it easy.
