Lots of water

So roughly 2 weeks ago I had knee surgery and I haven't been able to drive my 1st gen since. But today I went out to start her up just to let her idle a bit and after a few minutes I noticed a good amount of steam coming outa the crankcase breather and some water droplets on the tube. so I shut her down and checked the oil and there's moisture on the dipstick. the oil wasn't milky but there was definately moisture on it. So my question is is this much condensation normal for two weeks of sitting?

ive seen the same thing on my dipstick, just get the oil good and hot, the moisture will dissipate. it is very unnerving the first time you see it.

I had knee surgery in Sept., many problems. Since I took my shoes off (no kidding), ALL of the problems have vanished, PM me if you want details. I am convinced that if I'd done it years ago, I would never have needed surgery in the first place. Also, 2 weeks for condensation, especially with wide temp swings in that time, would be what I would expect...Mark

I didn't start having knee problems until after I got married.

And yah, a little moisture is not unusual. Do watch your oil anyway. an increase in level or it turning milky needs to be caught early.

Funny......I didn't start having financial problems till I got married. Seriously, the ex and I get along real good, because I haven't seen her in 15 years......Mark
