looking at buying a '91
I'm looking at trading my '01 in on a '91 W250. It is a regular cab long box with an automatic tranny and has about 230,000 miles on it. The dealer is asking $7,000 for it. Does that price sound about right? In my area a nice used Dodge Cummins will sell for top blue book within a week. Is there anything I should be worried about on that truck with that many miles and an auto tranny? I talked to the dealer tonight and am going to go look at it tomorrow.

Well, I would check if it is intercooled or not. Also, Check the cab all over for rust, exspecially under the driver side and the passanger side roof. That is a few common spots for rust. But, why do you want to trade for an older truck than what you have? Sounds like you have quite a bit of work in your current ride.

I'm tired of spending alot of money on it and trying to keep it nice only to have people keep tearing it up all the time. Out of all the dents on it I haven't been responsible for any of them. Id rather have an older truck and not have to worry about it.
