1stgen545 had a breakdown of the rules last year that they handed him at the front gate. It was modified and stock, I couldnt really tell the difference between the two. Some OBVIOUS modifieds also pulled stock. There are some hitch requirements and I remember something about propane and nitrous, or the lack there of. Pretty basic though.

Thanks.. I don't know if they are going to let us hang the weights on the front.. if not.. they'll be hanging in the bed.. and if they are checking.. we'll be in the Modified class... Hitch is at 26in...

We were planning on bringing the '05 to pull, but have a few ???
Stock engine + fueling SW & box, with installed BUT not used NO2 & H2O/CHO3 - will they make us run Modified?
Are front-mounted winches OK?
Lastly, how stringent is the 8K# gross rule? - we have a tough time getting down to 8500# when we prep the truck for the quarter.

pretty tight on the 8K. They made a guy unload a bunch of chains and things to make it in. Last year it was no NO2 at all in any class H2O/CHO3 in modified. I plan the go thursday night to get a copy of the rules. winches are OK. NeedMoPower I hope you make it. I would like to see your truck and see a 1st Gen win.

Dont worry, I'll be there, but it wont be until Saturday. I would like to see a 1st gen win too, but I'm already running out of fuel big time. I dont have anymore tricks left to do anymore other than p pumping it. Hope all of you decide to stick around on saturday...I'd like to meet the 1st gen guys.

Yeah Ill be there Saturday, last year I was in the pits and missed almost all of the pull, and there was some cool stuff I missed. Ill be watching this go-around. There are always a few that arent running any mods that make it fun. Even though they said no alchohol on the trucks, nobody mentions anything about the alchohol in the drivers!! Makes for a fantastic YEE-HAAAW axle bustin' time!!
