Location for Texas 1st Gen meet(poll)

I cant get the poll to work so can some one else do it ( Dave )? Some of the places mentioned are Waco & DeLeon, and a few blanks so if you think of others let us know and we can add it up to see where to meet. We can pick a place then a date. DeLeon should be August 10-11 ( Friday - Saturday )For the Pulls, Waco can be anyday. I would realy like a lot of 1st Gen'ers to get together and have a good time.

Thanks Dave. I wish you could make it down. Its just a little drive from PA right? I don't think I will make it to Kentucky. Takes longer to get out of Texas than to get across the rest of the country, or at least it seams like it. I really do appreciate the help. Now lets vote on a place. Waco is a big place but not sure were to meet or what to do but have some ideas if it rains. DeLeon has local pulls after the Pro's are done Friday and Saturday night usually starts around midnight. Also has LTPA sanctioned lawn mower pulls Saturday As part of the Peach & Mellon Festival and give out free Mellon's on main street Saturday evening. Its very family friendly and even has a Fair, seed spiting contest, fiddling contest and lots more. If you have any ideas for Waco or anywhere else let us know.

DeLeon is in my back yard and I always liked looking at the mellons on the peaches when I was in town. Sounds like fun even Tho I don't pull with this beast.

I'm up for Waco if I get this 92' DRW up and going. If not I could always throw it on the hauler and tow it up with the Yukon. lol

I drove it home from San Antonio in 34 hours (total elapsed time, included naps and potty breaks). I'll never do that again.
