I just got through putting all the dash and the wire harness back in my 89. All is well except the head lights only work on dim and I have no dash lights. I checked and replaced the little bulbs on the circuit board. The turns light and blink and the high beam light comes on . That's it!! Any ideas? Thanx

 

on the head lights I would try replacing the dimmer switch. I have heard of people having problems with the stock headlight switch, but I thought it was on the newer first gen's due to small wires.
