Here are mine. American Racing stamp-steel black rims.
Plain.
Simple.
Cheap (last i saw it was about $50 per rim but that was a few years ago)
STEEL.
I wouldn't trust putting aluminum rims on a CTD.
A friend cracked an aluminum rim on the rear of his bronco. I cant imagine how they'd handle up under the weight of these motors.

Mine are factory on Ford Diesel trucks, they're tough. So, I'm guessing you don't trust any of the aluminum wheels Dodge puts on them from the factory either?

Nope. Aluminum belongs on a beer can or an airplane....not a pickup. =D

I've actually seen several of the Dodge factory aluminum wheels crack, and there have been several complaints made to the NHTSA about them, so don't scoff.

A certain percentage of anything is going to fail. I've seen a few Dodge wheels fail. I've seen more than a few Alcoa 24 inch truck wheels fail too.

Then again, I've been an A&P mechanic since 94 and have seen lots of airplane parts fail too.

I'm not going to lose any sleep at night over possible cracking of aluminum wheels on my junk. The advantages of aluminum (ex, unsprung weight reduction) far outweigh the worry.

Ever herd that old saying, "Dont ever race a car with dog-dish hubcaps." ?
It came out of the hot-rod/muscle car era i believe.
Sure that car with dog dishes may look "cheap" but thats only because the drive put all his money into that motor instead of flashy wheels.

I like dog dishes caps.

Oh yeah. Here's my beater with a crappy paint job, rattlin' doors, 300hp and dog dish hub caps, among other things:

I like surprising new vette drivers with it.

some interesting setups here. I already have the dog dishes available. I was looking at blending the old school dodge with some new wheels that you see on the newer trucks. These trucks already stand out but why not just blind the eye? kinda like a turbo, if you are going to here, it might as well be ear peircing

Will 2nd gen wheels fit on a first?

I have never tried to bolt them up but I have a set laying here.....

If anyone wants to try the fit or see what it would look like come get them....I'll never use em....
