I wouldn't mind trying them once I can get the extra cash. On a side note, I've been running the Silver Stars for about 4 years now and haven't had an issue. Although, I haven't had the chance to wire them through a relay as most of you have done.

Thats what kills them! However, the additional illumination is dramatic!

Are the round ones the same price? I've got a nice bird bath hood and the grill with the round head lamps. I've always wanted to put them on the single cab. That may give me the motivation because I've been waiting for dot to approve them for on road use, I like my hid's but no high beams is a drawback!

I have been really impressed with the way LED technology has improved in flashlights in just the last little while (try the Streamlight Stinger LED if you want the best long-reaching beam in a flashlight you have ever seen), so I'm pretty interested in hearing how these LEDs do in headlights. I sure hope someone gives them a try so we get to hear a review.

No problem, hopefully they are worth it. I have a feeling they are since i read up about a lot of jeeps off-roaders that have tried them and swear by them.

If I was ever going to go LED on my truck I'd go with JW Speaker lighting. I have a "daymaker" on my harley made my them and they do just that. Phenomenal products.

I have them and love them... One of the best upgrades i've made to the truck...I ran HID's for awhile and had nothing but trouble.

Don't have any night shots but here's proof that I have them...

The truck light led headlights arent all that. The beam pattern sucks on em.

Why buy silverstars when they just burn out? A good set of H-4's do just fine.

I got a set of napa bright lights in the my car and there pretty decent overall. Alot better then the other sylvania? bright lights in my 92 w/ a relay harness.

The '90 has some hella H-4's with 80/100's - the high beam pattern sucks tho. Im gonna go cibie housings or something else next.

We have been replacing landing and taxi light on aircraft for a while now mainly on a cost basis. Yes they are 10X the price, but they last far longer. So they do wind up paying for themselves in a short time. The thing I've noticed about them is they are bright if you are looking at them, but the light peters out in front of you in a shorter distance. Noticed the same with our LED flash lights.

Received the truck lite led headlamps today.

I am impressed with the sturdy construction.

Might get them installed this weekend, need to do some before pic/vids first though with my hid's.

Please keep us up to date. I've been watching this thread (or is it the other one? Probably.) and waiting to hear some feedback about them.
