KSB solenoid needed

Anyone have a KSB solenoid they want to get rid of? Maybe off an old pump or junker sitting around. The cheapest I can find a new one is $180.00.

How did you determine the solenoid is bad? The assembly can be removed from the pump, disassembled and cleaned - if something is gummed up that will cure it.

I jumped 12 volts to it and did not see a difference in the way the engine ran when cold.

Pull the housing off the side of the pump and disassemble it to make sure the valve isn't gunked up. Also, while you have it apart, put 12 volts across the solenoid and watch to see if the plunger moves. If it pops out with no help, it;s OK.
